I have been studying with Ashley for about two years, and I started out with zero previous training. Singing is one of those skills that feels like it should be easy and natural but is actually complex and difficult when you’re first learning. Ashley has helped me discover my voice despite my lack of experience.
She creates such a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment in lessons, which makes it easy to take risks and really learn without worrying how I sound. She’s incredibly knowledgeable in vocal technique across multiple genres, and has helped me develop proper breath support, release unnecessary tension, and approach different parts of my range in a healthy, sustainable way. Over time I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my control, consistency, and overall ease while singing, and she’s helped me kick a lot of bad habits.
One of the things that makes her such an exceptional teacher is how well she adapts her teaching to the individual student.
